A legal notice sent to Kangana Ranaut by Ketan Mehta, accusing her of ‘hijacking’ his film

We can’t imagine things going wrong between a visionary filmmaker and an ace performer, but it did. Recently director Ketan Mehta has accused Kangana Ranaut of stealing his research and ideas for a biopic on Rani Laxmibai, and has sent her a legal notice.

It is sad that Ketan had already thought of this biopic since a couple of years and Kangana was going to portray a titular role in it. But eventually, the two felt that they had creative differences that couldn’t be addressed and so they parted ways.

Now since the time Kangana has announced her film ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’, Ketan is fears that she must have made use a=of all the research and analysis which were put together by him.

He told a news agency, “Yes it is true. We have sent a notice to Kangana as I think there is an attempt of hijacking a film.”

He added, “Kangana being privy to all the documents and research material along with the script shared with her, has knowingly committed the act of trying to hijack the project in collusion with producer Kamal Jain & others.”

Seems like Kangana is always caught up in controversies.
